Talknet

Talknet is an instant messaging program, like MSN or AIM. However it is "extensible", meaning you can add stuff to it. For example, if both you and your friend had a Flash extension installed, you could send him Flash animations. This project is barely out the starting blocks yet, but when it is, please support us by testing it.

Talknet is an extensible open source Instant Messaging chat project written by 4 teenagers from around the world. It is written (or going to be written :P) entirely in Visual Basic 6. It will include both a client and a server, both of which will be extensible.
Please help! We need a server we can test on. If anyone has access to a server which we can borrow in the future (for free, or a small fee) please let us know.
